ANDREE’S REMAINS
FIRST REPORTS EXAGGERATED. [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copy ri gh t. ] (Received this uav at 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 2. i A message from Nana states; It is ' now clear the first reports of the Andree discoveries are much exaggerated. Dr Horn declares only l>ones and clothed were left, hut there is no doubt the discovery is genuine. Andree’s skull was not found, but his body was identified by a diary in his pocket, ft is difficult to say who is who of the others. A ship has been dispatched to make a further search. LONDON, Sept. 2. The ship Ilratvaag has arrived at Tromsoe. A hearse conveyed the remains to the infirmary pending examination. The party evidently had plenty of food as some was found near Andree’s body. The log book suggests the balloon journey lasted a few dhvs. The writing was almost U/egiblo, , .
