Britain were 1,2(36,200 .wholly titi- ' employed, 641,400 temporarily, stop-., ped, and 92,300 normally In; casual employment, making a total of 1,939* 909. This was 6,446 more than a we«k before, and more than before. The total on July 14th, comprised 1,394,900 men, 43,300 boys, 454,300'women, and 41,900 girls The numbers of persons on the registers ’of ' Employment Exchanges in the area of Greater London on July 14th. were 135,571 wholly unemployed, 6,172 temporarily stopped, and 20,470 normally in casual employment, making a total of 162.213. This was 4417 more than a week before, and 60,907; more than a year before. The total on July 14th. comprised 124,840 inen, 2.873 boys, 32,270 women and 2,230 girls. ■! ' '
