LATE LOCALS.
Come along to St. Mary’s weekly social to-night, (Thursday) nt 8 o’clock.—Advt. Owing to interruption of the telephone line, there is no news to-day whether the Elsie which sailed yesterday for Oknrito, has arrived there. There is a, treat; in store for lovers of the Light Fantastic to-morrow (Friday) night 29th., when the Annual School Ball takes place in the Arahura Road Schoolroom in aid of the prize fund. This, function is always looked forward to, and this year promises to eclipse all previous. Very compete arrangements are being made, and an excellent supper is being prepared. A Roger’s Combination Radio and Gramnphone set will be installed for the benefit of patrons, which should prove a valuable addition to the evening’s enjoyment.
