Your Directors have pleasure in reporting another successful financial season,’ although it is genera/ly recognised that, the past season lias been one of the worst for many years regarding prices on the London market, as in April last the price of butter fell as low ns 125 s for finest. However in spite of this erratic market, your Directors were ablf( to dispose of tlio output at a very satisfactory price. . , ■

Your Company has to date paid to its suppliers, an average price of approximately Its 2-id per lb on all but-ter-fat supplied and - recommend a further payment of Id on all butterfat, also .5 per cent dividend, bringing the average payment up to Is 3£d.

During the year the Westland Power Limited switched on the electric power and this has proved to be most successful in the working operations of the factory.

We must again congraulnte Mr McCallum, our manager, and liis staff on the very excellent quality of butter manufactured, the gradings being 100 per cent. Finest; also, advice has-been received that the Company has tied for third prize in the annual competition among all butter factories for the Class A Challenge Cup. Your Directors to again further improve the quality of the butter have let a contract for the daily collection of all cream and trust that the suppliers will continue to forward a good article to the factory, and thus enable tlie Manager and staff to maintain tlie production of a super quality butter.

Tlie retiring Directors under the Articles of Association are Messrs J. Fleming, S. Havill and T. O’Neil. The retiring Auditor is Mr R. Wild. All these gentlemn are eligible for re-el-ection.
