EXPORT AND IMPORT FIGURES

WELLINGTON, Aug. 26
Figures for the overseas trade 01 New Zealand for the month of July, 1930, show exports valued at £3,384,742 sterling, and imports valued at £3,014,713 sterling. For the corresponding period last year the figures were £2,719,935 and £4,459,652 respectively. For the period of seven months to the end of July, 1930, the exports were valued at sterling and imports at £25,582,256 sterling. For the corresponding period of 1929 the figures were £40,491,876 and £26,997,095 respective!v.
