ADVICE TO AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Association) ADELAIDE, Aug. 25

Sir Otto Niemeyer, representative of the Bank of England, was the guest of the South Australian Ministry at luncheon. He lightly referred to “three great virtues in Australia — Amy Johnson, Don Bradman, and himself —and they bad been likened t 0 Faith, Hope and Charity. He left it to the company to decide whether the greatest of these was Charity! He added that if Australia were to maintain her play in the world she must reduce costs. The sooner Australia entered the path of financial peace the sooner would she overcome her financial worries.
