The' “Mauretania,” which arrived at Plymouth yesterday, made her quickest passage this year taking only 24 minutes over five days. Her average speed had been 25.72 knots. WOMEN’S CONFERENCE. HONOLULU, Aug. 21. The Women’s Conference voted to form a permanent organisation. The Comimttee will be appointed on Wednesday to report on Thursday on the constitution programme.
