An excellent picture programme was presented at Princess Theatre last night and will be repeated this evening. The “shorts” were excellent, introducing a Mexican orchestra, a Police quartette in unaccompanied harmony, community singing in a cabaret, and Madame Alda singing “The Last Rose of Summer” and ‘‘The Birth of Morn,” with an accompanist who supplied meditation music as an interlude between the songs. The comedy “Synfopathy’' was certainly amusing. The star picture had for its theme a devoted mother’s love; and the plot developed admirably. There were some remarkable cabaret scenes, aiid the dog doing Ills early morning exercises to the commands by wireless was a novel and interesting feature. Altogether the programme was one of uniform interest and excellence, and should be seen by all who enjoy a happy entertainment.
