LADIES’ HOCKEY

NEW ZEALAND TOURNAMENT. Fifteen teams from all parts of New Zealand have entered for the tournament. The Kirkpatrick Cup goes to the winners and the Floyd f.U.ield fto the runners-up, and the Millie Cup for the 100 yards New Zealand Ladies Hockey Championship Race. The following are the dates the West Coast team .play, Aug. 29.—-West Coast v. Southland A. Aug. 30.—West Coast v. North Otago. Sept. I.—West Coast v. Eastern B. Sept. 2.—West Coast v. South Canterbury. Sept. 3.—West Coast v, Rtuahine. Sept. 4.—West Coast v. Auckland. Sept. s.—West Coast v. Otago. Southland A are the present holders, having won the Cup four times, drew once, and runners-up once. The team representing West Coast consists entirely of members of the Hokitika Ladies Hockey Club.
