McGregor, verbal ’report on junior rep. game,—Received. From Russ Club, asking "for seven-a-side tournament to be arranged to take place at Ross on August 30th: stating trophies were being sent Onward.— it was resulted to set aside August 30th iis the date as requested. From Ashburton Union- aeknowledging expression of sympathy (.—Receded. It was resolved that defaulting senior players be asked to'iwxplain their non-appearance at the tram last Saturday, to fulfil the fixture at Greymouth. ft was resolved to ask. the West Coast Rugby Union to reconsider their decision to close the competition and to ask that the UnitedExcelsior game be__played, ; .r ;> The matter of the Excelsior' Glnb’s apoeal was discussed. .<• i- : .. ■ Accounts as tabled were passed for payment.
