HOWICK TRAGEDY

’ INQUEST VERDICT. (By Telegraph, Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August. 19. A verdict that Hilda A. M- Miller was shot dead by her husband, Henry John Miller, who' then shot himself, was returned at the inquest on the victims of the Howick tragedy on August 9th. During the inquest two letters were produced, but not read. The Coroner said one was a letter from Miller to his son. There was nothing in the other letter except an expression of an intention to kill liis wife.
