A great recovery in the second half allowed North Auckland to beat Auckland in a game played at Eden Park this afternoon. ’ Auckland had easily; the better of the game in the first spell, and led by 11 to nil a half time.] In the second spell, however, the Auckland inside backs could not stand, up to a battering given by the visiting forwards, and North Auckland clapped on 22 points while Auckland failed to add to its score.
EASY WIN FOR WAIRARAPA
MASTERTON, August 16. Wairarapa Rugby representatives * completely outclassed Manawhenua today in a return home and home match, by 32 points to 7. Wairarapa lead at ), half time, hv 27 to 4, tries being scored by Stringfellow (2), Le Quesne, Walker and Parker. Fuller converted three and kicked a penalty, and Corkhill :f goaled from a mark.
