An enormous crowd at Hyde Park witnessed the handing, ovfer of the gift aeroplane to Miss Amy Johnson.
Mayor-General Brancker said he was proud to present the plane which was subscribed to ib,v the public. He was stirred with enthusiasm at the magnitude of the enterprise. After the ceremony Miss Johnson climbed into the plane and waved her Land to the cheering crowd.
