Addington Handicap.—(2) John Mauritius 1; (4) Maxegin 2; (1) Engagement 3. Won by three lengths; four lengths. Time 4.33 2-5. Islington Handicap.— (1) Royal Silk 1 ; (5) Apex 2; (4) Mac Dillon 3. Won by a length ; 'four lengths. Time 4.29 1-5.
An inquiry is being held to-night into the running of Royal Silk. No dividends were paid ont on this race. Farewell Handicap (3) Native Prince 1 ; (10) Bonny Logan 2 ; (6) Logap Park 3. Won by half a length each way. Time 2.43.
The inquiry into the running of Royal Silk in the seventh race at the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting today has been adjourned until tomorrow.
