Airship , RIGO was moored at St. Hubert aerodrome at 6 p.m. eastern standard time. ■ ' R.IOO. OTTAWA, Aug. 12. R.IOO will start on the return to England at ten' on Wednesday night, a' minor defect to the starboard forward engine and slight tear in the fabric having been repainted. i PROGRESS OF AIRSHIP. (Received this day at noon.) RUGBY, Aug. 12. After twenty-four hours flight, during which she visited Niagara Falls and many towns and was greeted by huge crowds, the airship 11100 returned to Saint Hubert air port, (Montreal). As she approached the mooring mast the reduction gear in the, starboard engine broke and the Vibration of the guy wire caused a small fear in the fabric. This mishap will not interrupt with the 11100 return flight, and she is expected to ■leave for England on Wednesday. She may take a more southerly cruise and there is a prospect that, after passing up the Bristol Channel she ■may fly over London on her way to Ordington. The Canadian Government has been greatly impressed by the RIOO and reported they may shortly consider the construction of a larger ship.

• AN AIRSHIP SERVICE. OTTAWA, Aug. 12. Definite plans for the establishment of a British-Canadian airship service embracing as a, possibility, , the construction in Canada in the near future of an Atlantic type of airship, was laid before Premier. Bennett on Tuesday by Sir Dennistoqn. Burney, who described the interview as most satisfactory, indicating he was in a position to discuss the matter with the British Government. AN AIR RECORD . NEW YORK, Aug. 12. A St. Louis message states feeling is assured of establishing a world refuelling record, Dale Jameson and Forest O’Brien on Tuesday talked of keeping a monoplane in the air for six weeks or a thousand hours. At noon they had slightly more than twenty hours to go before wresting the record from Hunter Brothers.
