Godtrey and' J. Stark (unopposed); Secretary, F. Newfield (unopposed); Assistant Secretary, M. Wall 904 (elected), T. G. Graham 744. Auckland : President, D. McLennan (unopposed); Vice-Presidents, S. C. Peters and J. J. Wakefield (unopposed! ; Secretary, T. F. Anderson (unopposed) ; Assistant Secretary, 11. Williams (unopposed.) Dunedin: President, R. Tood (unopposed); Treasurer, N. McGilvery (unopposed) ; Secretary, W. Clark (unopposed.) Lyttelton agent: T. Martin 855 (elected,) T. Murphy 225, E. G. Clark 192, W. Brown 189, D. Harman 181. Councillors: Wellington, F. P. Walsh, T. Murphy, and G. Godfrey (unopposed); Auckland: T. F. Anderson 1496 (elected), D. McLennan 1270, (elected), S. W. Waters 1071 (elected), W. Souter, 995; Dunedin: W. Clarke 1138 (elected): T. Martin 1102 (elected), M. Wall 818 (elected); E. C Clark 679, D. Harman 535, <T. Stark 455. On the question of the establishment of a Ship Wreck and Funeral Benefit Society, the votes in favour numbered 1187, and those against 319, and the proposal was carried.
