ON “AL U QUIET” FILM

WELLINGTON, August 4,
• The. Censor’s baifon the film “All .Quiet pu the. Western 'Front, ’ ’ lias been removed. '
The decision was arrived at to-day by the Appeal Board, which recently upheld the ruling of the Government’s Film Censor, Air AV. A. Tanner, hut which, after reviewing the picture, decided that it might he screened when certain excisions had been made. The Board consists of Mr 11. M. Gore (Chairman), Mrs Iv. Preston and Mrs E. J. Righton. A report is being submitted to the Government by the Chairman.
