HUGE EXPLOSION
A TRAM BLOWN UP (Australian Press Association.) ' ' • -• SYDNEY, August 4. What the police think was an attempt to blow up a tram, occurred at Manly. The veliicle made contact with three huge chunks of gelignite, and the whole district was disturbed by a deafening explosion. Passengers were - thrown into a state of panic. The tram was badly 'damaged hut no one was "injured.
