Pandit Madan, Mohan Halaviynjc Vallaghai Patel, and three other prominent Nationalists were arrested at Bombay on Saturday. Following an amazing night-long deadlock between ten thousand processionists and the police, a demonstration was organised in honour of Tilak, one of the best known Nationalists, in defiance cf police orders. Over one hundred were injured in a clash .between a mob of three hundred processionists and the police, who made a batoii charge.
