There was a large yarding of mutton, chiefly ewes, with many unfinished lots. There was : little quotable difference in values. Prime heavy wethers sold to 34s 7d, prime 26s to 295, medium 22s to 255, ’light from 17s. Prime heavy ewes sold to 265, prime 19s 6d to 225, medium 16s to 18s 6d,' light 12s 6d toi -los, inferior froirt 9s.;' There was a. very small yarding of fat lambs. First quality ivere in demand-. ; Best prime • latnlxs sold from 33s- 4d to ‘37s 4d; prime’ 2.9 s6d to 32s :6d, others from'2l3 6d. There was a good yarding of fat pigs. Porkers were easier,"while bacon was- firm. Right porkers sold from £2 5s 6d in £2 15s 6dV heavy £2 18s 6d to £3 10s, the average ' price per pound being B£d to 9cßd. Heavy chop-.' pens sold up to £lO Is, others from £3; light baeohers £3 10s 6d td £4 15s ■6d; heavy £4 17s 6d to £5 9s 6d, average prices 7td to B| : d per lb. Store pigs were slightly easier. Large stores sold from 37s to 43s 6d, medium 28s to 355, small 21s to 25s 6d. slips 18s to 235. weaners 13s 6d to 21s.
