HOKITIKA BOXING GYMNASTIC CLUB
A committee" meeting was held on AVeidneaday, July j2Srd. in Keller’s Booms. Present: Messrs F. Mcfclre--1 gor (chair), H, M. Coulson, J. Stafford, J. J. Breeze (sen.), ID. W. Hcenan, W. Bo we, F Ballinger, J. Johnson and E. Best (sec.). The minutes of the previous meeting wer read and coniirmed. Moved by J. Stafford that a tourney be held in Princess Theatre per terms reported by sub-committee on August 16th. Seconded by Mr E. W. Heenau and carried. Moved by J. Johnson that the-pro-gramme cover from midget 4st 71b to heavy weight. Seconded by Mr J. Stafford and carried,. It was left in the hands of the secretary to arrange advertising, etc. Moved by Mr H. M. Coulson and seconded by F. McGregor that this body extends to Mr A. Behan and family their deepest sympathy in their recent bereavement. Carried in sil-.. ence, members standing. Moved that letters Ire sent to sick members J. Turner, J. Findlay, and T. Brown wishing them an early recovery. The closing of nominations with fee of ss, to be returned to competitors at ringside, close on "Monday, August 11th at 7.15 p.rn. with the. secretary.
