NEW- GERMAN IMPOSTS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph .—Copyright.] LONDON, July 27. The “Daily Mail’s” Berlin correspondent states that President Von Hindenburg has signed an order requiring Germans to pay new taxes which the Reichstag had 'refused to sanction, including a ten per cent, ■higher income tax for bachelors and spinsters than for married people. Under the order officials, including Post Office clerks, and company directors, will surrender two and a half per cent of their salaries in addition to paying the ordinary taxation. The Government expects the new imposts to realise thirty millions sterling.
