HELD UP BY SNOW. (By Telegrapn—Per Press Association.* AUCKLAND, July 29. For the first time in history the Main Trunk Limited Express was held up by snow this morning between Taihape and Rauriniu. Tlieie is over two feet of snow on the line, and the express had to move backward and forward several times to clear some of the snow, before leaving Horopito. Passengers from Tongariro to the National Park were unable to connect with the ordinary express last night, on account of snow, the heaviest fall in the King Country ifor years.
