'{Following- the refusal of the Customs Department to permit the entry of ; .Soviet ';pulp wood, on the grounds that convict labour employed in its transport, is contrary to the spirit of the American Tariff Act, the Treasury- Department has announced it is investigating the production methods of : lumber, coal manganese and other Russian products which will be barred if convict labour or forced labour is employed in their production.
