SUGAR PROTECTION. A QUEENSLAND REQUEST. : (Australian Press Association.) CANBERRA, July 28. A deputation accompanied (by the Premier of Queensland (Mr Moore) asked the Prime Minister to renew the protective sugar agreement and embargo against the employment of coloured labour on the cane fields. It was stated three hundred thousand acres were under cultivation. Mr Green paid a tribute to a brave flying officer.
