MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THURSDAY, JULY 24th. (Before W. Meldrum, Esq., S.M.) DEBT OASES. Judgment lor plaintiff with costs was given in the' following cases:— Receiver of Gold Revenue (A. C. Ghesney), v. Frank Buchanan, claim £lO 19s 7d, and costs 255. Same v. Frank Crcagh, claim £4 6s ll'd, and costs Bs. Same v. Richard Loitch, claim £lO Is and costs 255. LICENSING ACT. Five persons were charged with being on licensed premises unlawfully after hours (Commercial Hotel). Three pleaded not guilty and their excuses were accepted and the charges dismissed. One was fined 40s and costs 10s. and one ordered to pay costs 10s. police defences act. The Police clanged- William Pascoo with delivering a firearm without n permit. Fined 5s and costs 10s. BOROUGH Bf E-LAW. Borough Inspector, W. E. Gaylor, (Mr Park), charged James Warner with failing to display a tail light on motor car when in Revell Street. Fined 5s and costs 10s, solicitor 21s.
