A FOUR-SHILLING COMPANY. When a petition to wind up Rodney Investment Syndicate, Ltd. was before Mr Justice Eve in the Chancery Division, London, Mr Braund said that arrangements had been made to pay the petitioning creditor and he asked the judge to make no order. Mr Justice Eve: This is a company, apparently, to cany on a business such as is carried on by Misses Rothschild, and it has a total capital of 4s. I am sorry I cannot wind up the company. However, it has paid the petitioners. There will be no order on the petition, which ought to be preserved.
