The Canterbury Rugby- Union resolutioried that the New Zealand Union l>e asked if it cannot see its way clear to arrange for an inter-island came to be played in Christchurch' this year, the teams to be comprised of players who have not been included in the present All Black test side, with a view to giving these players a chance to show themselves, and to give the selectors an idea of their ability, in view of the visit of an Australian team here next season.
