An extraordinary meeting held this morning by representatives of dairy companies interested in the National Dairy Association, took the formal action necessary for the liquidation of the Association and reconstruction as a limited company. The Chairman, (Mr Morton) said the object of the meeting was to confirm a resolution passed at Hamilton to the effect that it was expedient for the share capital of the Association to be taken over by a new company to be known as the National Dairy Association of New Zealand, Ltd..; that the existing Association be wound u'p voluntarily; that the assets be transferred to the * new Company in the form of share capital. A resolution was passed confirming the motion passed at Hamilton and a committee appointed at Hamilton recommended a sub-committee of the executive he appointed to conduct acinitiative to take action on matters ing; that a part time secretary be appointed. This was agreed to, it being exlained that the object of the resolution was for the committee to devote activities to a particular class of work principally remits carried at the annuail conference and of its own iniative to take action on matters afaffecting the industry as a whole.
