Preski out Hoover has appointed a Committee to investigate the amount 0* foodstuff's that is now purchased by the army and navy outside of Ameridi. Beef, beans, corn and dairy produce are obtained from New Zealand and Australia lor the troops in Hawaii, the Philippines and the Canal Zone. This committee is tin result of complaints made by cattlemen and other producers that a surplus of these goods in the United States has kept the prices atjow levels.
