NO MORE RIVER BURIALS River burials' were banned lately by the Part of London Authority. This announcement followed a recent incident at Hammersmith Bridge, when a weeping Sikh oast into the waters of the Thames a casket containing the ashes of his English girl-wife. A recurrence of such a burial in the Thames will cause steps to be taken against the persons concerned in order to discourage further offences. This is Accessary because there Are many Indians and others who wish to be buried in the same, way. If such a practice were unchecked urns deposited in the river bed might cause an obstruction to navigation.
