Tlie half-time scores were: New Zealand 18; North Western County 6. The game ended with the score m favour of New Zealand by 34 points to 19. RUGBY LEAGUE WIN. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) SYDNEY', July 16. The New Zealanders were welcomed by the Minister of Education, Mr Drummond. The local side included players in groups numbered feur, five, twelve, and thirteen embracing the towns of Moree, Inverell, Tenterfield, Werrisereek, where the code has made a notable progress. The game was most interesting, the honie side holding their own till well into the second half when the New Zealanders who displayed fine combination, added fourteen' points before the final whistle. The scorers were: Tries, Dodds, Amos (2),' Gregory, Wa~ tene (2), Brisbane, Wetherill. Gregory converted four tries and kicked a penalty goal.
The New Zealanders to-night are attending a dinner and dance ana leave to-morrow afternon for Brisbane.
