The howling, carnival was most successful. The semi-final was reached in the open rinks and the pairs championships.
In the former, three New Zealand and one Fiji rinks remain. New Zealand won the Pacific pennant for the first time defeating Fiji by 5.9 to 33, and Australia by 50 to 10. , ', r V’i i ;■ ■
The howlers have gone to a fire walking display to-day.
