LONDON, July 13
Teh thousand people attended at the Albert Hall for the Spiritualist meriiorial service, and listened to tributes to 'the late Sir A. Conan Doyle. The gathering also sang his favourite hymns.
After this, a medium, / Mrs Estelle Roberts, standing in the rostrum, claimed that she saw Sir A. Conan Doyle cross the platform and sit down in a vacant chair. She subsequently exclaimed; “I have a message from him.’’ She then walked across and engaged in a whispered cheerful conversation with the Doyle family.
Lady Doyle, afterwards told the reporters that she was perfectly convinced that a message came from her husband. “It is a happy, cheering message,” she said. “I am sure he has been with us to-night.”
