FEDERAL BUDGET
MEANT TO BE DRASTIC. (Australian Press Association) CANBERRA, July 13. The Prime Minister, Mr P. H. Scullin, vigorously defended the Budget against its critics. He said that, apparently, some people wished to repudiate the country’s debts and to reduce the war pensions and the old ago pensions. He, certainly, would not cio that.
