CONSIDERATION BY CABINET A
WELLINGTON, July 9
A deputation representing the fom university colleges'waited on the Hon. IT. A tin ore to-day contending that the Taranaki endowments were intended for the benefit of education generally and should be for A ictoria College, Wellington, which was the governing body so far as education in Taranaki was concerned.
Mr Atinore mentioned having heard a Taranaki 'deputation-, say that the endowments should ho for the benefit of Taranaki. children. Now he had Heard both sides and would take an opportunity of placing the whole, matter before Cabinet. _
