SYDNEY, July 8
The Geological Adviser, Dr Woolno ugh, who is visiting the United States, has forwarded a report to the Prime Minister (Mr Sdillin), saying:
“Without exception, the geologists with whom I have discussed the question are more favourably impressed with the ultimate (prospects of oil discovery in Australia than I ever dared to be. All that is necessary is patience and money. I described the conditions in Australia and that is their answer. The dimensions of the oil leases, they add, must be at least 640 acres.
