NEW SHIPPING SERVICE.

AUCKLAND. July 7

The Norfojk Island-Auckland, shipping service is to be resumed. On this occasion, it will be conducted by private enterprise. Messrs Spedding Ltd shipping agents, have arrangements in hand for the inauguration of a steamer service, which will probably start.from, Auckland next Monday. The vessel which will probably be used is the Hiktirangi, of 287. tons, which has been employed in.the.local coastal trade.. Since the Maui Pomare was withdrawn from the service early tins ' r enr,, there has been no link with, Norfolk Island. It-is hoped to malm the new venture a permanent and re- ■ . -
