The amateur athletic championship marathan race from Windsor to Stamford Bridge was won by McLeod Wright, a Scotsman., his time being two hours and 38 minutes 29 2-5 secs.
Martel lin (Finland) was second and Ferris (England) was third. The finish wals the closest one seen yet.
The hop, step and jump was won by Peters (Holland), the holder, with 595 f inches. . .
