THREE BALLOONS COLLAPSE. GERMAN CREW SUFFER, COLOGNE, July 5. Three balloons, when flying over the Rhineland in celebration of the Evacuation, by the Allies, were caught in a rain storm, and collapsed. One landed on the roof of a farmhouse. One of its crew was killed and three were gravely injured. The crews of the other balloons' were also injured, some seriously. SEGRAVE VERDICT. LONDON, July 5. At the inquest on the Miss England speed boat’s mishap, a verdict was returned that Sir. H. Segrave was killed accidentally as the result of the boat striking a tree branch. DUKE OF YORK. ""RUGBY, July S'. The Duke of York yesterday.' visited Weymouth and opened a new bridge over the harbour, which lias cost £90,000. In doing so he pressed a button 'which started 400 horse-power electrical motors lifting a 200 ton steel span in one and three-quarter minutes. Some 1500 school children in a pleasure steamer passed under the bridge, cheering the Duke. His Royal Highness recalled the visits paid to Weymouth by his ancestor, King George the Third. He said he admitted His Majesty’s wisdom in selecting Weymouth for rest and recreation. , MOTOR SPEED LIMIT. LONDON, July 6. There was an important vote in the House of Commons when an amendment to the Road Traffic Bill was moved by Doctor Salter, providing lor a speed limit of thirty-five miles an hour. The proposal was rejected by 180 votes to 99.
KIDNAPPED PRISONERS SAFE

The kidnapped deputies Pekkola and Roetkoe are announced safe at Lapo whence a telegram- was sent to the Home Minister, Kuolnlnaner, saying if he wants them he can fetch them.
