LYELL FATALITY
MAN KILLED BY FALLING TREE

REEFTON, July 4
A man named Reynold Dufor was killed at Lyell this afternoon. He was engaged with three* others, by the Public -Works Department, and a tree was fallen by two men above. The falling tree getting caught, deflecting and struck Dufo-r, who, was below, fracturing his skull, and liis death being ‘instantaneous-. The deceased was lately a resident of Auckland, and was a single mall.
