(Received this day at 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 2. In the tennis semi-final at Wimbledon Tilden beat Borotra o—6, 6—4, 4—6, 6—o, 7—5. In the semi-final' of the ladies singles Miss R.yan beat Fraulein Aussern 6—3, o—o, 4—4, retired. Helen Wills beat Madame Mathiew 6—3, o—2.
Fourth round, mixed douibles.—Hopman and Mademoiselle Sigart beat Miki and Miss' Thomas 6—4, 6—4.
'Fifth round.—Cocliet • and Miss Whitt-ingstall beat Hopman and Mademoiselle Sigart 7—5, 9—7. Crawford and Miss Ryan beat Mangen and Miss Palfrey 6—4, 6—2. In the Ryan-Aussem match, rthe latter fell and fainted, .and was carried off. It was found she had sprained an ankle, and the match was awarded to Miss Ryan.
