By telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 2. The N.Z. Boxing Council has suspended Reg. Trowern for six months, for breach of contract with the Wellington Association. The Council decided to withhold Ted Morgan’s share of the purse m connection with the bout with Lou Bloom at Hastings on April 11, when a foul blow was delivered. NEW RULES FOR. FOULS. NEW YORK, July 2. New York State Athletic Commission, in a reply to public criticism on the recent epidemic of fouls has ruled that hence forward all boxers will wear-approved protective devices, and that if a fighter should he struck a low blow, he should he awarded that particular round, hut that if he cannot rise, lie will lose ‘the bout on a knockout to his opponent.
