CHRISTCHURCH, July 2.

Conflicting statements regarding the policy in the treatment of.children at State dental clinics received by the Auckland . Education Board. The Health Ministry said the treatment of private school children had not been authorised by the Health Department.

The chairman of Matamata Clinic Committee quoted from a booklet on the policy of dental service that State school children had a prior claim. The dental nurse at Matamata said she had been instructed that all schools were now eligible. The division of Dental Hygiene wrote that the primary department of Convent schools wore now eligible. The Board decided to forward the letters to the Minister of Education.
