A DARING ESCAPE

A daring, well planned escape, was made from Wadsworth gaol. While /prisoners were exercising two dashed toward a, wall whereover a rope ladder was suddenly thrown from outside the gaol. One prisoner escaped . and the other was caught and pulled from the ladder. A waiting car outside sped away, with the escaper. Both ■prisoners were members of a motor kandit gang, lengthily sentenced. T It is obvious there was a system of by .friends outside. A.n inquiry has been ordered.
