•Messrs M. Houston & Co., report:— At yesterday’s sale at the above yards our yarding consisted of 60 head oi fat cattle which were submitted to a good attendanceffdf buyers. There was good competition for local cattle at prices on with those of the previous sales, but a line of 30 piime -cattle >froiri ..Gisborne was withdrawn, prices offered?' for same not being up to vendors reserves. Graham, 1 cow at £6 17s 6d, 1 vealer at £4, 1 stag at £6 10s, 1 vealer at £3 2s 6d, 1 heifer at £8 2s 6d, 1 cow at £6 7s 6d, 1 runner at £6 17s 6d, 1 cow at £9 17s 6d, 1 heifer at £9; on account of T. J. Meharrv, 2 runners at £5 2s 6d, 3 at £4 15s, 2 at £5 2s 6d, 1 steer at £9 17s 6d, 2 runners at £5 2s 6d, 2 at £5 t s 6d ; On account of client 4 store bullocks at £9; on account of F.
