KANIERI ELECTRIC LIMITED. ADVANCE NOTICE. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION and erection of its new Hydro-Elec-tric Power Installation, the Kanieri Electric Limited is issuing a series of debentures, which have already been underwritten. A portion of these will be set aside for such consumers and residents of Hokitika as may desire to subscribe thereto. Debentures will bear an interest rate of 7 per cent, and be secured by a first lien on all the assets of the Company. They will mature in 20 years, be callable after 5 years, and convertible at the option of the holder into ordinary shares of the Company. They will be issued in denominations of £2O and £2OO.

Arrangements have been made whereby the above Debentures may be purchased directly through the Company’s Office in. Hokitika, in which case if application is made within a period of. three months from date of issue, the subscriber may obtain the Debentures at a discount. Purchasers obtaining Debentures after this date will be required to pay the full price. Detailed particulars of the Debentures and the Company’s business and assets will be clearly set forth in a Prospectus which is shortly to be issued, copies of which may be obtained as soon as issued at the Company’s Office in Hokitika, or from the Office or its Solicitors, Messrs Park and Murdoch. For those desiring to purchase Debentures out of income, arrangements have been made whereby payment can be made ovtfr a period of time. All Debentures must be purchased by application, blanks for which may be obtained at the Company’s Office in Hokitika in the near future, anti nU- J ment will be made in the order in which applications are received.
