Foreign telegrams confirm the peacepeaceful occupation of Tsinahifu by Sham si troops, following the withdrawal of Hanfuchu, a former Kouminchun General, eastwood along the railway connecting Tsinanfu with the coast.

Hanfuchu’s future movements are uncertain but to-night’s Chinese press reports he and Chentiaoyuan (Privincinl Governor) intended to concentrate at Tsingho with the object of making 'mt city the temporary capital of Shantung. Meanwhile heavy fighting is reported from Honan, where Chiang Knishek has launched another determined offensive along a twenty-four mile front.
