AVIATION

FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA

LACK OF NEWS

{.United’ Press Association—B.y Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.]

LONDON, June 22,

Apparently - Matthews and Hook did not realise the need fo reporting themselves at the foreign aerodromes. This omission explains the lack of news of them from Lyons till their arrival at Marseilles, whence they left at 11.25 a.m. yesterday for Rome from* where they ■ have, still not been reported. Nobody is able to verify the story that another airman, named Ting, who left MarsHilles yesterday for Rome, was also hound for Australia.
