LONDON, June 19,
When the Bremen aeroplane made the first east to west Atlantic flight, Cdlionel Fitzmaurice carried a one pound note as a mascot. After the flight Fitzmaurice, Baron, Von Huenefeld and Captain Coelil signed the note. Kingsford Smith possesses this mascot. If the trans-Atlantic flight is successful lie and the rest of the crew will sign and then restore it to Mrs Fitzmaurice.
RUSSIAN MINE DISASTER.
(Received this day at noon.) MOtSCOW, June 19
Thirty-five were killed and twentynine,, injured, in,a gas explosion, at Maria mine, Donetz Basin. A courageous old man saved six from the debris. Two officials were arrested. The catastrophe is being investigated. "
